VOC Compliance (Volatile Organic Compounds)

VOCs are the solvents used to deliver the solid ingredient to the substrate. Water based products (such as our NatureOne®) have a low a VOC level, whereas many oil-based products (such as our NatureColor®) have a high VOC level.

A VOC-compliant county/state regulates VOC levels—generally requiring VOCs to be less than 200 (NatureColor® is measured at 550 VOC)—and restrict sales.

Structures Wood Care products cannot be purchased and shipped to the following states or specific counties because of VOC Compliance level regulations:
